2.25 = 12″ Scale Climax Locomotive
Our model Climax locomotive is being built, similar to the ones that ran here in the 1920s. The plan and report are here in .pdf format, for viewing or downloading.
As an interim step, to test the new P360 controller and the new trucks with their eight motors, Dan installed the trucks under the out-of-service bench eLoco and we put it into service on September 12. This will avoid wear and tear on the green eLoco that Dan has loaned to us, and give us experience with the new trucks and controller.
Bolts added to strengthen bolsters, and 3″ long 1/2″ square pipe supports for the floor plates of the Climax
